Position Overview:

This individual, as a member of SunRun's Salesforce.com team, will be a key member administering SunRun's Salesforce CRM/PRM platform. The administrator will also be involved in planning, training, process discovery and management and vendor management

Responsibilities:

Administration:

  • Manage SunRun's implementation of Salesforce platform (production, full sandbox and config instances), for all organization users
  • Perform basic administration activities including, but not limited to, management of users, roles, profiles; Create and manage custom objects, fields, workflow rules, validation rules; Manage/create reports and dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Regularly perform database de-duping and cleanup procedures
  • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues
  • Recommend overall best practices and Salesforce usability changes
  • Participate in the definition of technical solutions in Salesforce to support business processes
  • Maintain high-level familiarity with other system/business application capabilities in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points with Salesforce.

Planning and Training:

  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications
  • Develop and communicate a schedule for future Salesforce releases/enhancements
  • Assist users with report design and management

Process Discovery and Management:

  • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to salesforce
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage Salesforce to support additional business processes or functions
  • Work with various business operations group (Sales Ops, Channel Ops & Customer Support) to prioritize and resolve issues

Vendor Management:

  • Assist outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners as required
  • Manage ongoing relationship with Salesforce
  • Monitor license usage and make recommendations to the management team as appropriate

Skill Set:

  • Strong overall technical background
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and related data manipulation a plus
  • Experience with Apex programming language, VisualForce development, report writing software and Salesforce.com certification a plus

Education Requirements & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience with Salesforce administration or development preferred
