Sales Representative

PTE Energy is a Connecticut based company working in the rapidly growing field of energy efficiency.

We are a certified contractor for the United Illuminating and Connecticut Light & Power Small Business Energy Advantage Program.  This program offers up front incentives provided by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund for small and large commercial customers to perform energy efficiency upgrades in their facilities. The upgrades may include Lighting, HVAC, Refrigeration, Energy Management Systems, and Energy Benchmarking systems.  

Position Overview:

The position will entail prospecting for commercial businesses throughout Connecticut, developing relationships with potential clients, providing features and benefits of energy efficiency, perform energy audits of facilities, analyzing data, and presenting proposals to customers. 

We will provide continual field training, back office support, access to Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund educational seminars and continuing education that will assist you in becoming proficient in the energy efficiency field and provide you with experience in the world's fastest growing industry.

Qualifications:

• 2 years Business to Business Sales Experience
• Experience in radio, office equipment, advertising, industrial sales preferred
• Self motivated and desire to achieve target goals
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Solid written, verbal, and people skills

Compensation: Pay is commission based on a sliding scale based on monthly earnings and achieving targets. Successful people will be given the opportunity for advancement within our company.
