American Resource & Energy (ARE) is a rapidly growing company that specializes in the engineering, manufacturing and sales of wind tower poles, foundation and raising systems. We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual who is passionate for renewable energy and wants to be part of our company and this industry.
With offices and manufacturing in Asia and customers around the world, this position requires flexible work hours and an ability to work productively with people of other cultures/nationalities.
Position Overview:
The position will start as an Sales Administrative Assistant, supporting our existing sales staff with pricing, proposals, shipping, research and lead generation. After demonstrating knowledge of our products/business, the ability to sell and the attributes listed in this posting, position will become full-time sales.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Work to develop new products and markets.
- Community Service - Education of Renewable Energy.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated, hard-working and ethical.
- Good at Table Tennis a plus.
- Knowledge and/or Experience in Wind Industry - Preferred, not necessary.
- Secondary language - Preferred, not necessary.
- Proficient reading, writing, and math skills.
- Selling Skills.... persuade and influence others, develop and deliver presentations, create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales techniques. When in contact with customers, maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
