Our company, Environment News Service, is the number one destination for late breaking environmental news in text and video. We are seeking a phenomenal Account Executive to extend our growth and momentum. Our company builds long term relationships with content subscribers across the media spectrum.
Reporting directly to the president of the company, the successful sales professional will be responsible for selling subscriber based content, media distribution, public relations campaigns and online program inventory to television broadcast programmers, government contract representatives, environmental professionals and public relations agency executives. The company offers a range of products from short term, immediate fulfillment to long term contracts, that require a permanent sales professional to manage and upsell.
This position is a self-managed, results-driven role that will be expected to close deals and build customer relationships that create both near-term revenue and long-term value. Additionally, this role will be have a direct hand in helping to generate innovative sales ideas and programs that will take you, as a sales professional and our company to the next level.

Responsibilities include:
- Signing deals with major companies to promote their information, events and merchandise
- Scaling effectively using business to business relationships to sell multiple clients at once
- Ensuring positive experiences by managing top clients end-to-end
- Developing a formal plan and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify best opportunities
- Creating industry specific presentation materials and other collateral for use in all steps of the sales cycle
- Identifying a strong understanding of client's core objectives and challenges
- Accurately forecasting both short term and long term products revenue growth and managing against a pipeline
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience calling on online advertising agencies and/or content creators
- Self-starter, able to work against a plan with minimal oversight
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
- Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis across industries
- Excellent understanding of content dynamic values and campaign buying and planning
- Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value not price
- Understanding of audience profiles, targeting, and campaign optimization
- Proven communication, presentation and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling
- • Proven record of strategic development of Fortune 1000 client base
- A strong desire for a long-term position while implementing continual growth strategies.
- Superb ability to prove the company basic criteria that information is a two-way street with profits at both ends.

ENS produces specific interest news, custom content and video news packages. The World-Wire division offers media distribution, campaign management, strategic consulting and a wide range of public relations services with a focus on the sustainable business marketplace.
This is a generous commission contract based position.
