Position Overview:
The Sales Manager position will be responsible for scoping and delivering solutions to new and existing clients and prospects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong technical acumen and business knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Pipeline management
- Relationship building with new organizations
- Works with Finance Manager to set quarterly and annual sales targets
- Gathers and assesses client needs, both business and technical
- Writes proposals
- Manages presentations
- Contract preparation
- Ensures proper handoff of new projects to Project Team
- Salesforce administration
- Oversight of contracts, signing authority
- Product development and business development
- Lead generation and lead follow-up
- Networking
- Build client loyalty
- Collaborate with partners and like-minded competitors for new business
Qualifications:
- Ability to clearly communicate technical features/advantages/benefits to clients in government, non-profits, education, and businesses, large and small
- Excellent listening and customer service skills
- Enthusiasm for technology
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills
- Highly confident and professionally assertive individual that can instill confidence in customers and team members
- Minimum 5 years experience of sales in a related technology field
