Our ultra clean and highly efficient proprietary system delivers more than 8 times the energy of solar for the same capital investment, reducing utility bills up to 40%, and CO2 emissions up to 40%.
We are a privately held company, established in 2003, with operations throughout the west coast of the United States. Our team of engineers, scientists and veteran business executives combine world-class experience and expertise in bringing to market the CE5, a combined heat and power fuel cell that operates on natural gas.
With successful launch activities underway in the San Francisco Bay Area and Coachella Valley markets, we are seeking to hire a Sales Manager for Orange County in Southern California.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager has overall responsibility for the development, management, and successful achievement of all ClearEdge Power sales objectives in their territory. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.
Qualifications:
Skills:
5+ years proven track record in sales leadership with management experience. Strong organizational skills in building, developing, and managing a team, mixed with the ability to roll up the sleeves and close sales. Fluent in the language of the energy and construction industry, with the skill to develop and communicate the financial value proposition. Articulate communicator and presenter with exceptional social skills and the gift to mix well with a broad range of clientele and stakeholders.
Experience:
Broad work experience , or combination preferred, in the following areas : selling and/or marketing to professional construction trades (architects, general contractors, mechanical electrical engineers) engaged in the ultra high end residential market; sales of alternative energy systems such as solar photovoltaic or solar thermal; selling energy or financial products.
Background:
Bachelor degree mandatory, with strong preference for MBA degree. Certification as a LEED AP preferred, and will be required to complete during employment.
