Internship Description:
Ideal Bite is seeking one Sales Intern to work with an experienced team of professionals to support the sales, client services, and business development departments for the Ideal Bite Daily Tip. The Ideal Bite intern will gain experience in real world work experience online and off and generate contacts in the green industry. Ideal Bite internships are unpaid but structured to give the interns maximum exposure to online and green business strategy, with our goal being to provide the interns with solid experience that will eventually help them find paid work for their talents.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Sales prospecting
- Strategic sales research
- Client services support
- Special projects, as needed
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week in Ideal Bite's SF Office (SOMA area)
- Excellent research, writing and communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Independent work style requiring minimal supervision
- Proficiency in computers with working knowledge of Microsoft Word as well as internet research
- Internet and computer access
- Interest and knowledge of environmental issues and socially responsible business is a plus
