Position Overview  

Repurpose is growing and
seeking a rockstar Sales Coordinator!

We are looking for a sales coordinator who is driven and passionate
about helping build an established but growing, world-changing, multi-million
dollar sustainable products company. We are looking for all-around stars that
crave the entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of mission in their work.

This is a dynamic
position requiring the ability to focus on ongoing goals, objectives and
management of the details associated with day-to-day retail sales and overall
business development. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining
existing business as well as generating new business opportunities for
Repurpose. 

Responsibilities  

Position Detail: 

  • Implement national sales strategy
    developed in conjunction with CMO, consultants and brokers.
  • Develop, submit, implement, and track
    strategic sales promotional plans for assigned accounts on new and current
    products.
  • Present new products and complete
    paperwork; formulate and review sales strategies necessary to obtain product
    placement; monitor assigned retail accounts to determine and suggest new
    product placement opportunities.
  • Create and present promotional
    opportunities through the retailers’ advertising vehicles on/or off shelf.
  • Process and follow up on orders as
    necessary.
  • Coordinate demonstrations in retail
    accounts. Ability to comprehend and use sales data in presentations
  • Manage trade shows/table top shows as
    directed by management.
  • Help coordinate educational
    seminars/trainings. Conduct retail audits as necessary.
  • Report directly to Sales Manager and CMO
    regarding sales issues and objectives.
  • Respond timely to all correspondence.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends,
    competitors, competitive product lines, current retail environment and
    available promotional and marketing programs.
  • Utilize reporting tools to analyze
    movement, lift, placement, and voids; work with sales team to manage, monitor
    and maximize implementation of placement, plus-outs and promotions. 

Qualifications  


Experience/Skills Required:
 

  • This is a full-time Los Angeles based position
    ideal for someone with 2-3 years food/non-food sales experience.
  • 20% travel required.
  • Self-starter with strong sales and
    merchandizing skills.
  • Experience in the Natural Products
    Industry is a plus.
  • Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic
    person, able to problem-solve successfully with a wide variety of people and
    issues.
  • A high level of motivation with a
    strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to successfully multi-task
    in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a
    positive outlook.
  • A “can do/do whatever it takes to get
    the job done” attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while
    being a strong team player.
  • Outstanding organizational and
    follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening
    skills.
  • Flexibility to accept a variety of
    fluctuating tasks.
  • Ability to manage time and deadlines. 

Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and will be a combination of base
salary + bonus.
