Bay Environmental Strategies, Inc. (BAY), headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin, provides full-service consulting and compliance solutions to companies and individuals subject to the vast array of city, county, state, and federal environmental health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
Services offered by BAY include project management and/or team leadership of our clients' EHS programs, acting as professional liaison to regulatory authorities, and serving as a watchdog for future regulations that may affect the business of clients. BAY provides our clients with technically sound, cost-effective solutions to their environmental problems.
The idea for BAY arose from three primary owners; Jim Rabideau, Dennis Greil, and Noel Versch. These individuals, each with a Bachelor of Science in Geology or Environmental Sciences, have more than 50 years of combined EHS consulting experience.
Position Overview:
Bay Environmental Strategies, Inc. (BAY) has an immediate opening for a Safety Professional to assist with development of our Industrial Health and Safety sector, including OSHA-related regulations and programs, industrial hygiene monitoring, safety-related training, and market development.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional consulting experience and a minimum of 10 years of overall health and safety experience.
- Experience required in industrial/manufacturing-related and or mining safety programs/regulations.
- Candidates must have experience with market development, sales, and proposal writing.
- It would be beneficial (but not required) if selected applicant has a base of existing clients or client leads.
- Experience with industrial environmental compliance would also be beneficial.
- Candidates must be self-motivated, able to develop new business, and perform necessary project management activities.
- Individuals must be able to work independently, good at problem solving, not afraid to take on new tasks, able to write letters and reports, work well in groups, a good public speaker, and capable of business development.
- It is preferred that selected applicant will work out of and within one hour's travel of BAY's Green Bay office, however, BAY may consider opening a satellite office in another location of Wisconsin if mutually beneficial.
- Generally, travel is within an hour's radius of Green Bay; but project work may dictate statewide travel.
