Description
Energy and environmental consulting firm is seeking a full-time project manager to work with national retailers in support of ENERGY STAR, a national program co-managed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to promote the purchase of energy-efficient products.
Candidate will work with EPA and DOE, retailers, manufacturers, utilities and other partners to develop ENERGY STAR retail marketing promotions. Key duties include client and project management, retailer account management, strategic marketing consulting, and written and verbal presentations. Candidate must be able to develop and independently manage strategic projects, oversee projects and other team members, prepare budgets and track progress, and work well with people at all levels.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage and motivate staff, effectively oversee projects, prepare strong oral and written presentations, use creativity to solve problems, develop strategic marketing plans, negotiate with diverse players to build multi-party partnerships, and pay attention to details. A Bachelor's degree is required (Master's preferred), along with 8-10 years of related work experience. Experience in retail, marketing, and/or consulting is particularly desirable.
