Resource Protection Specialist

Duties:

• Candidate will be responsible for promoting and marketing conservation programs which preserve natural
  and historic resources.
• The essential functions of this position include: identifying and evaluating
  projects which will result in protection/acquisition of critical natural and/or historical resources; negotiating with landowners to acquire resources and designing strategies for creative facilitation with public agencies and the private market.

Qualifications:

• Education requirements include a BA/BS in land planning, landscape architecture, environmental science, government policy or business with an environmental science minor.
• A minimum of five years experience in land planning or real estate is necessary.
• Writing, public speaking and fundraising experience desirable.

Starting salary around $40,000 +/- with excellent benefits.
