Description

What we do at ASC Solar, and particularly, the way we do it, supports successful solar power system installation projects for our clients. We are a niche solar power design and installation company whose focus is on helping our clients get the greatest energy cost savings through our solar power applications.

Position Overview:

Solar sales and technical training is available for qualified candidates. Successful candidates must be energetic, driven to succeed and be committed to helping homeowners save tens of thousands of dollars and doing their part for the environment. Strong presentation skills and in-home sales aptitude make you a great candidate.

Computer skills are required along with your own laptop and a track record of being able to close. Must be able to pass a thorough background check. Interviews are being conducted for Southern New Jersey closers now!

Responsibilities:

  • Sales of residential solar electric systems and energy efficiency services.
  • Closing deals and signing contracts at client homes.
  • Prospecting for and qualifying leads.
  • Generating project proposals/quotes for customers.
  • Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and financial return on investment.
  • Must have a clear understanding of sales cycle, contract agreements and be able to explain and review agreements to close customers.
  • Resolve concerns and eliminate obstacles to going solar
  • Follow-up on sales pipeline
  • Generate additional revenue through networking and referrals
  • Attend company and departmental meetings as requested
  • Communicate and share best practices
  • Other actions and assignments as appropriate

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a successful first time closer
  • 1-5 years of success with in-home sales
  • Comfort and confidence in the sale of financial and/or professional services

Compensation: We offer a competitive commission based incentive plan with unlimited earning potential for true sales professionals. Independent Contractor status position.  Performance commission plan.
