Description
Background:
DB Environmental, Inc. (DBE) is an environmental research firm, incorporated in
1990, that currently has a staff of 25 scientists and support personnel. DBE is
actively involved in the research of water quality issues related to the Florida
Everglades restoration.
Duties:
DBE is seeking an entry-level field support person with a Bachelor of Science
degree in environmental or biological sciences for our West Palm Beach field
office.
This full-time position primarily involves a variety of field support tasks,
including water, soil and vegetation sampling.
The applicant should be familiar
with the scientific method and rudimentary experimental designs, and be able to
accurately record field observations.
A portion of this work entails sampling from
airboats and other watercraft, so the candidate should be a competent swimmer.
Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with capabilities and experience.
