Position Overview:
This position
opportunity is ideal for a motivated, energetic and good-natured individual who
welcomes challenges, thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and
possesses excellent organizational skills.
The company is
looking for an R&D Intern to perform various routine lab tasks in the
R&D department and assist in material testing, product development, and
process control.
Responsibilities:
May include:
- Collection
and preparation of samples for strength testing - Performing
required strength tests and shrinkage tests - Collect,
record, and transcribe data - Maintain
test equipment, supplies and lab cleanliness - Perform
series of quality control testing on raw materials (sieve analysis, color
measurements) - Perform
viscosity quality control at the batch plant - Supports
R&D and Quality team in color development efforts

Candidate
needs to be:
- Extremely organized and dedicated to
meticulously managing detailsFlexible team player with
demonstrate ability to excel in a fast-paced environment under time constraints - Able to multi-task, communicate effectively
w/all levels and successfully meet deadlines - Energetic, creative, disciplined and a
self-starter, able to manage projects independently

- Strong
computer skills (MS Excel) able to learn new systems and
