Position Overview
Trillium Assest Management is seeking candidates for the postion of Research Analyst. This position works from our headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.
Principal
Responsibilities
-
Research,
analyze, and recommend publicly traded, alpha generating investment ideas to
Trillium’s Portfolio Managers with consideration of our typical longer term
holding period -
Continually
analyze the business strategy, operating, financial management, and ESG
performance of companies on Trillium’s approved company list -
Determine,
monitor, and integrate material ESG opportunities and risks into industry and
company analyses and recommendations -
Assign
ratings to all stocks responsible for on Trillium approved company list -
Communicate
sector/industry/company views to internal Investment Management Committee
members, particularly providing updates on companies in existing investment
strategies and making stock position change recommendations for investment
strategies -
Maintain
dialogue with Trillium’s Advocacy and sector ESG Materiality Issue teams on ESG
issues -
Contribute
to projects that help enhance the team’s contributions to the firm’s investment
process and productivity -
Participate
in firm business development opportunity and existing client meeting
Qualifications
Competencies
for Success/Requirements:
-
CFA
or CFA Level 3 candidate with MBA/MSF -
Passionate
about research analysis with minimum of three years research analysis
experience in the financial services industry -
Demonstrated
interest in and knowledge of ESG issues in sector/industry research coverage
areas -
Ability
to identify cyclical, secular, and structural changes in sectors/industries -
Thorough
knowledge of and fluency in various valuation techniques, including DCF models -
Productive
and efficient employee in past financial services industry work experience -
Proficient
in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and working experience with Factset -
Solid
communication skills, including writing and presentation skills -
Attention
to detail and ability to multi-task and set priorities -
Strong
work ethic, high integrity, and strong values -
Willingness
to travel to attend sector, industry, and company research oriented events
