We reduce carbon emissions by 90% and help organizations break their oil habit. We have installed over 30 units and save our customers an average of 15% on each heating bill. In the past 2 years we have installed over $1.5M of projects. Our program reduces customer risks and cuts their exposure to oil price fluctuations. Based on this, Pelletco will double sales in the next 12-18 months.
Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic sales person who wants to make a difference. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be eager to meet new prospects, develop relationships and close business. You will sign new accounts within the designated territory to grow sales, be a key contributor to Pelletco's success, and an important part of the engine for the company's continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Engage with communities at grass roots level to develop new opportunities
- Work with partners to develop and close business
- Work with existing customers to develop referrals
- Attend events and engage with key customer groups such as Multi-family, Farms, Churches, Schools, Towns, etc.
- Guide each opportunity through our sales cycle to closing
- Learn the basics of our technology and product offerings and communicate them to prospects
- Maintain a good working relationship with existing and new accounts
- Keep current on CRM, administrative duties and sales plans
- Territory covers 2-hour drive time from Portland, Maine
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Interest in Environmental issues
- Experience in heating or energy sales a plus
- Excellent phone and strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to use search engines, CRM and MS Office effectively
- Willing to work 40+ hours per week
- Vehicle required
Compensation: Pelletco offers a monthly stipend with expense reimbursement and a generous commission package. For the right person this is a six-figure opportunity with the chance to become a leader in this emerging industry.
