Courses are offered in fields ranging from engineering technology, business and computer information systems to nursing, allied health, biotechnology, education, culinary arts, human services and language and culture.

Position Overview:

The incumbent for this position will oversee the development and implementation of Renewable Energy programs including development of the curriculum, courses, student projects, lab activities, student learning outcomes assessment, and related manuals that meet the Institute for Sustainable Power Quality (ISPQ) standards and guidelines.

Initial program development will focus on solar content. The incumbent will teach courses, preparing students with the training qualifications, knowledge and skills to meet the growing energy needs within our community, including preparation for North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certification. Knowledge of and experience with instructional program development, syllabus construction, and student learning outcomes assessment is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 years of relevant experience to include experience in energy management and renewable energy technologies.
  • Working knowledge of energy assessment, operations and maintenance, and resource management.
  • Ability to relate to and communicate effectively with a diverse population in a multicultural environment.

Compensation: A00/Salary shall be determined through education and relevant experience
