Renewable Energy Field Technician

Our vertically integrated team not only helps customers identify an ideal clean energy system for their immediate and future needs, but also manages the design, permitting and grant writing for projects. We work with our residential, agricultural, and commercial customers to generate clean energy and manage their usage efficiently to minimize their carbon footprint.

Position Responsibilities

• Foundations: excavation, trenching, tense assembly, forming, concrete,
• Electrical: site prep, service installation and wiring disconnects, transformers and control systems (120 V to 600 V AC and DC) per electrical drawings, installing grounding systems
• Installation: Assembly, Rigging, Working with crane (100-300 ton), torqueing bolts, Operating lulls, man lifts and other equipment, laying temporary roads and/or mats
• Troubleshooting: Electrical and control systems analysis

Qualifications

• Operating equipment
• Tower climbing
• Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
• Ability to read engineering design drawings and following technical instructions
• Ability to read 3 line wiring diagrams for installation and troubleshooting
• Carpentry skills
• Masonry skills
• Basic computer skills
