Position Description

Are you an organized, self-motivated professional with an eye for detail and an interest in data-driven results? If so, our fast-paced consulting firm has an immediate opening for an analyst to support federal agency clean energy and sustainability efforts.


Responsibilities for the Renewable Energy Data Analyst role include a range of analytical tasks, from tracking agency energy, water, fleet, and greenhouse gas emissions to researching and promoting renewable energy purchasing options for facilities and creating data visualizations for agency officials.


Based in Arlington, Virginia with a combination of required in-office and remote work.


  • Successful candidates will have a masters’ degree in sustainability topics or environmental science or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree and 1 to 3 years analyzing utility, greenhouse gas, or renewable energy data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Access are required, and familiarity with Tableau, Qlik Sense or other data visualization platforms are a plus.
  • You must have an eye for detail and excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong written and verbal communications.
