Position Overview 

Crius Energy is seeking a renewables analyst to join our team. In this role you will be involved in the assessment, origination, procurement, and registration of the company's renewable obligations. 

Responsibilities  

• This candidate will work with the EVP of supply to actively source renewable PPA's, RECs, and carbon offsets.
• Further, the candidate will assist with our solar assets team to develop strategies and tools for sourcing and funding new solar customers.
• The candidate will create renewable obligation forecasts, position reports, and finally assist in the audits of the renewables book to ensure that all customer obligations are met. 

Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• The ideal candidate will possess and maintain an ongoing understanding of renewables markets, including: RECs, Offsets, RPS standards & compliance mechanism, renewables contracting, etc.
• Two or more year's related industry experience.
• Knowledge of Retail and Wholesale Natural Gas energy markets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in dealing with spreadsheets, databases and EDI.
