Description

Trex Company, Inc. is the manufacturer of Trex decking and railing, the leading brand of alternative decking lumber in North America. 

We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Central region.

Specific duties include:

  • Achieving the region's sales goals.   
  • Managing, leading, and developing the region's sales force.   
  • Controlling expenses within budget.   
  • Driving executional effectiveness and continuous improvement.   
  • Maintaining and nurturing strong local distributor and dealer relationships.   
  • Setting regional commercial strategy.
  • Qualifications include:

    • Minimum of 10 years sales experience with a record of achieving outstanding sales results.   
    • 4-year college degree required; MBA preferred.   
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategy and account planning to exceed sales goals.   
    • Outstanding organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.   
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.   
    • Must demonstrate leadership and capability to lead, coach and train.   
    • Must be a team player with effective interpersonal skills.   
    • Must be innovative and a forward thinker to anticipate issues/opportunities going forward and work through obstacles or roadblocks.   
    • Must demonstrate excellent qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.   
    • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative functions.   
    • Ability to deal with controversy.   
    • Demonstrated influencing skills.
