Position Overview:
Aarcher's southwestern regional office in Keller, Texas, has a full-time position vacancy for a Regional Group Manager that will be responsible for leading an established team of environmental consultants.
This is an excellent opportunity with solid growth potential for an energetic professional to take on a significant leadership challenge within a proven consulting firm.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Manage ongoing project assignments.
- Coordinate project scheduling and execution.
- Maintain/develop client relationships.
- Manage project budgets and complete invoicing requirements.
- Perform technical reviews of environmental reports as part of Aarcher's internal quality control program.
Typical project assignments include:
- Phase I Environment Site Assessments and NEPA categorical exclusion evaluations.
- Other projects may include NEPA EA/EIS, multimedia environmental compliance audits, SPCC and SWPP plan preparation.
- Managers within Aarcher's other groups and units provide opportunities for collaboration and team/staff sharing, and necessarily skill sets exist within the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working directly with clients and building new client relationships.
- Project and task management experience.
- Staff management, training and development experience.
- Master's degree in relevant field (additional professional certifications/licensing preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years professional experience in environmental consulting and management.
- Experience leading ASTM E1527-05 Phase I environmental site assessments.
Successful candidate will have some or all of the following technical skills/experience:
- Experience preparing technical and cost proposals.
- FCC NEPA regulations impacting telecommunications facilities.
- Wetlands.
- SPCC/SWPPP plan development and compliance.
- Environmental compliance auditing.
- Experience with Federal contracting and Federal environmental programs.
