Ecos Efficiency Solutions - the Efficiency Solutions business unit - is our key revenue generator and as a member of this team, you are critical to our success. Our Efficiency Solutions Team has an immediate need for a Regional Director located in our Southwest Region. There is some flexibility related to where this position can be based but your first year will be spent primarily in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada.
In this newly created role, you will report to our Vice President of Efficiency Solutions and experience all the benefits of working for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company while having a significant impact in energy efficiency, climate and sustainability.
Role Description
In this newly created role as our Southwest Regional Director, you will have a track record of successful performance managing and developing business. You will be relied upon to manage and build growth in the Southwest Region and will have leadership of, and accountability for, this Region's performance. You will be responsible for strategy development and implementation, as well as, strategic account management for all clients across all business lines, including Efficiency, Climate and Sustainability.
You will oversee the maintenance and growth of our existing customer base by proactively exploring and cultivating new business opportunities to meet annual revenue goals across all business lines. Your drive to maintain maximum client satisfaction and the development of long-lasting client relationships while proactively resolving issues and concerns will ensure the Team's success. You will oversee the management of existing programs plus identify new programs and projects related to energy efficiency, demand side management, demand response, carbon reduction and sustainability.
As a key team member, you will be responsible to review market analysis, initiate deployment strategies, monitor competitive activity, identify and resolve customer needs. You will ensure customer communication is seamless and Ecos is positioned to leverage all revenue opportunities. In addition, attending conferences and client-related events will be part of your activities in order to develop and promote industry knowledge.
Through effective leadership, you will help drive efficiencies through business processes, goal deployment, sales operations, organizational effectiveness, resource planning and allocation to insure customer satisfaction in assigned accounts.
As a key member of our management team, you will partner with the HR & Talent Management Office to acquire, lead, train, develop and retain team members, project managers and technical talent that will ensure consistent quality delivery to our clients. Additionally, you will effectively utilize cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, engineers and implementation leaders to insure excellent execution of program design, program execution and client management.
Role Competencies
As our ideal candidate, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Sciences or a related discipline. Your 10 plus years of progressively challenging experience will include P&L responsibility and be within business services consulting, energy management or the energy industry. Your experience will include seven-plus years of business development and/or account management experience of various complexity and sophistication demonstrating your ability to meet our client's needs. Additionally, you will have at least five years of experience motivating, mentoring and developing others including effectively matching employee skills to meet business needs. You will be a skilled user of Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
