CALLING ALL MARKETERS
Crop to Cup Coffee Company represents small family farmers of specialty coffee, and is looking for bright talent to help form our communications strategy.
Crop to Cup's concept is simple - we connect ultimate producers with their ultimate consumers, sit back and see what they have to say.
Farm-based GPS, internet, and communication technologies allow farmers to market themselves overseas - we help these farmers to represent themselves here in the US.
20% premiums, 5% of every purchase, and 10% of our profits go back to the farmer, allowing us to truly be farmer representatives.
With a novel business model and pioneering attitude, we hope that farmer-consumer relationships can help to align coffee's value chain with our true values as conscientious coffee lovers.
To help us tell this story we are looking for a public relations intern to:
- Review and issue press releases
- Be the creative force behind Crop to Cup events and openings
- Help us refine our message and conceptualize a broader PR strategy
- Get Crop to Cup up to date with online PR through links with sympathetic sites, and through alternative mediums such as facebook and myspace.
Work would be part-time with flexible hours determined on a mutually agreed per-project basis. We expect that this role would take 5 hours a week.
