Description
Internationally recognized, design-oriented landscape architecture firm is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Landscape Architect/Project Manager.
We are an 11-person studio committed to thoughtfully designed, cutting-edge work, with a focus on material innovation and attention to detail. Current projects include new university buildings, hotels, urban plazas, wineries, affordable housing, and private residences in the Bay Area and nationwide. Sustainability and LEED goals are integral to many of our projects.
Responsibilities:
This individual will work directly with the firm principal and other landscape architects on a variety of project types and manage other team members in the creation of schematic designs, construction documentation, and presentation materials. Position responsibilities include client meetings, contract management, and coordination of contractors and consultants. The Project Manager will also coordinate and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
The right candidate will possess proven leadership abilities, significant project management experience, and excellent communication skills. At least ten years of working experience and demonstrated familiarity with the design and construction process (including conceptual design, DD, CD, and construction observation) are required. Technical proficiency in CAD and other design-related software is a plus.
This individual will be capable of managing multiple complex projects in various stages of development and working cooperatively with contractors and consultants while maintaining design integrity and excellence. We're also looking for someone with passion, a desire to innovate, and a sense of humor.
Candidates must have a BSLA or MLA from an accredited program and be U.S. citizens (or have a long-term work visa or green card).
