Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow the Natural Resources service line by leveraging existing client relationships and marketing.
  • Work as a project and program manager capable of handling existing projects, provide technical oversight, and delegate project and business development responsibilities to appropriate staff
  • Effectively manage projects both on an individual and on a fleet-wide basis
  • Serve as a go-to technical resource and contribute to projects on a high-level technical basis, including Clean Water Act Section 404 permitting/401 Water Quality Certification and Environmental Assessment/Environmental Impact Statement
  • Manage and mentor junior and mid-level staff
  • Promote, diversify, and strengthen the growth of ECT's mid-Atlantic natural resources group
  • Help diversify ECT’s clientele through marketing activities

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an environmental field with 11-14 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 9-13 years of relevant experience
  • Experienced environmental consultant with seven or more years of project management experience
  • Experience with wetland delineations, environmental compliance, power sector and other industries

Job Essentials:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Intermediate skills related to GPS/GIS applications desired
  • 10% travel requirement, mostly overnight stay; fluctuates based on client needs
  • Maintain valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Office with occasional fieldwork
  • Capable of working outdoors in hot and humid conditions
