Our firm celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. We are considered the premier local authority in green building design principals & applications. One of our municipal/commercial projects is currently the highest rated LEED NC facility in Florida. Sarasota, a beautiful community that models and encourages innovative green design, is located between Tampa & Naples on the southwest coast. 

Responsibilities

Licensed Architect or non-registered graduate responsible for daily design and technical development of projects.  We are seeking a project team leader able to manage consultants, client contact, scheduling and budgeting.  Responsible for multiple public and private sector projects including commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, residential and faith-based buildings. Project managers guide project teams in applying green building concepts and technologies to their projects. In addition to managing client communications, PMs support CSAs objectives by incorporating green building strategies, advise client and construction teams on LEED-related activities and manage the documentation of green building accomplishments

Requirements 

Carlson Studio Architecture is seeking an architectural professional with interdisciplinary skills and 5-10 years of related professional experience. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, at least one of which incorporated green building components using LEED. 

We are seeking a team-oriented person who is comfortable working with minimal supervision in a small office environment. Strong professional skills and the ability to maintain a positive, flexible attitude are essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, be experienced at managing large amounts of information and comfortable with current computer technology, especially CAD and MS Excel. Requires research and writing skills, the ability to facilitate meetings and create and/or deliver presentations. 

Background: College Degree in Architecture, or equivalent education or experience, and some building industry experience preferrred. Green building experience and LEED Accreditation are required. 

Compensation commensurate with experience.
