Position Overview  

Webuild is seeking a Climate Change Project Manager to lead a portfolio of long term, greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction technical studies as related to public relations campaigns throughout the Asian and Chinese Marketplaces.

This would be a high profile, country leadership role in cooperation with Asian governments, in which the individual will have direct responsibility for development of climate change technical studies to support mass media campaign efforts to over 1 billion consumers through television, internet, mass email, public events, and celebrity endorsements to reduce greenhouse gas emissions significantly throughout the region.

Based either in San Francisco, California and/or Beijing. China, the ideal individual would have 8+ years of related work experience leading climate change and specifically GHG reduction technical studies that bring awareness to greenhouse gas emissions on the environment. 

Responsibilities  

• Must have the abilities to conduct climate change research / carbon footprint studies, analyze results and identify strategic opportunities, develop partnerships, and assist in the implementation of media campaigns (social media, print advertising, tv commercials, etc..) on public transportation, industrial consumption, alternative energy, sustainable farming, and energy use reductions strategies as related to greenhouse gas emissions.

• Additional responsibilities will include assisting in the development of the strategic marketing plan of action, conducting fund raising efforts, and working with staff (i.e. country directors, celebrities, political operatives, etc.) for overall program success. 

Qualifications  

• Requires a degree in Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, Business Administration or related discipline.
• MBA preferred.
• Must have strong climate change, greenhouse gas reduction and sustainably program management experience related to Asian Cultures desired.
