~ Global Efficient Energy provides energy saving solutions & tips, and solar power systems to Texas, Florida, Louisiana and North Carolina. ~

Position Overview 

The Project Manager will be the main point of contact for all Project Management projects in their respective region. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing each project from initiation to full completion.

The Project Manager accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. The Project Manager must also have ability to manage/train/coach employees as well as great customer service skills. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage the day to day responsibilities for each project
  • Manage all subcontract crews for installations
  • Communicate with electrical foremen on installations
  • Manage scheduler to ensure that all jobs are scheduled accordingly
  • Manage/train Quality Control rep to ensure that all jobs completed are checked for quality
  • Find and manage subcontract crews for windows, insulation, roofing, etc.
  • Train and manage Salesforce Dream Team software to ensure all facets of Project Management is using it efficiently.
  • Review and approve all invoices from subcontractors and submit to accounting
  • Ensure that all permits/HOA approvals are submitted and inspections are scheduled
  • Handle customer issues and complaints
  • Communicate with all departments on status of projects
  • Pull and create reports in relation to Project Management
  • Manage Quality Control rep(s) to ensure that all completed jobs are signed out
  • Continue to search and create relationships with subcontractors that will improve pricing and efficiency 

Qualifications 

  • College degree preferred, but not required 
  • Knowledge and ability to adapt project management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve processes
  • Solar PV experience and knowledge preferred, but not required
  • Leadership, communication and relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results; team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
