Position Overview:
In this solar photovoltaic systems project management role, candidate will be responsible for working with customers and the design team to execute planned design in timely manner with flawless results. The successful candidate always looks to improve work quality, is highly articulate, self-motivated and a well-organized crew leader that exceeds installation deadlines with a close eye on project integrity. He/she communicates and shares information/methods with cross-functional team members to achieve organizational goals.
Reports To: Director of Project Management
Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly and yearly installation quotas for assigned area
- Consistent interaction with customers providing design schematics, crew scheduling
- Complete and maintain information and product warranty paperwork
- Conducting pre-construction evaluations for clients
- Acquiring permits from any/all relevant agencies
- Coordination of field crew teams
- On-site problem solving
- Any additional responsibilities and/or tasks assigned by the Director of Project Management
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree from accredited university in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years' experience in the specification, analysis and installation of photovoltaic systems. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
- Expert fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
- Advanced/Expert knowledge of CAD drafting
- Ability to read, understand, and edit electrical and structural plans
- Extensive experience with permit acquisition
- Master of photovoltaic (PV) design
- Expert fluency in PV code compliance
- Skilled in field crew coordination
- Understanding of general construction, electricity and electrical contracting
- Tireless personal initiative, entrepreneurial nature that drives you toward solution and results
- Understanding of general construction, electricity and electrical contracting
- Knowledge of the solar marketplace, technology and industry
- Possess world class communication and customer service skills and experience
- Effectively communicate information both orally and in writing
- Able to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks
Other:
- Preference given to LEED AP and/or NABCEP certified applicants
- 45-55% domestic travel within assigned area
- Must be able to work on roofs and ladders
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Compensation: Compensation is comprised of a base salary plus a competitive bonus package. The base + bonuses can range between $36K - $70K.

- Time Off: After 365 days of employment, employees are entitled to 5 business days off paid for vacation time, and an additional 5 business days off paid for sick time.
