Description
Think Energy, Inc., a small renewable energy consulting firm, has been growing rapidly and is looking for a highly organized individual to take over the coordination and tracking of staff responsibilities in its Takoma Park, MD headquarters.
Think Energy works with companies, universities, non-profits and government entities to research and facilitate the transition to clean power. With more than 15 years experience working with renewable technologies, companies and environmental legislation, Think Energy provides clients with detailed analyses of their clean energy options, and guidance through the process of acquiring renewable energy.
Think Energy works with many clients on a number of different projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for tracking all projects, timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure effective, timely completion of all tasks undertaken by Think Energy. The Project Manager will report directly to the CEO and will oversee the day-to-day management of five or more employees and their ongoing tasks. The position is part time, approximately 30 hours per week.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Excellent writing skills
* An ability to coordinate multiple projects at once
* Attention to detail and deadlines
* 2+ years management experience
* Self motivation
* Familiarity with MS Office
* The desire to work in a fast-paced business environment
Knowledge of renewable technologies and markets is desirable, but not required. The successful candidate must have a sincere commitment to forwarding the market for clean energy.
