Position Overview
EarthCon is seeking Project Level-Chemical or Environmental Engineer to support site assessments, groundwater studies and remedial treatment system design projects throughout the Georgia and the South Eastern US.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering evaluations related to groundwater pump and treat systems.
- Design groundwater treatment systems. Systems may include: biological, carbon absorption, ion exchange, UV oxidation, etc.
- Collect field samples (soil, groundwater, sediment) and coordinate field efforts.
- Analyze (including statistical analysis) and interpret project data; prepare reports, permits and other submittals and documents.
- Manage project budget and resources.
- Participate in the company's business development activities.
- Assist in developing or expanding client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years work experience with at least 5 years in environmental consulting.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering evaluations, groundwater treatment system design and field sampling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
- Can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
