Position Overview
Invenergy LLC, a developer, owner and operator of wind, solar and thermal power generation facilities located in downtown Chicago, is currently looking to hire a Project Engineer who wishes to pursue a career in clean energy.
We are growing rapidly and expanding our development efforts in North America, Europe, and Latin America. The position is located in the Chicago office.
You will have the opportunity to apply your engineering education and to develop your knowledge, skills and abilities in an entrepreneurial and collaborative business environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Masters Degree in an engineering discipline is a plus.
- Proficiency in French is required.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Coursework and interest in related disciplines (energy systems, fluid dynamics, construction management, etc.)
- 0 - 5 years of experience in the power generation industry.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
- Some travel required.
- Moderate field work may be required.
