Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the coordination, administration, and project management of civil and water resource design projects and studies.

Other responsibilities include providing design support for special projects and systems, process improvement recommendations and engineering support to the ENAâ€TMs Technical Services Group and Business Development teams on new and existing projects. The Project Engineer will work primarily with ENAâ€TMs hydro assets but may be given additional responsibilities in our other technologies.

  • Implementing major repairs and capital improvements
  • Project design for minor repairs and capital improvements
  • Prepare capital and operating cost analysis
  • Assist with annual budget preparations
  • Preparation of construction contract documents
  • Construction management and on-site construction supervision
  • Coordinating with state, federal and local agencies
  • Select or participate in the selection of proper materials or major equipment for construction purposes

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or AS and equivalent experience
  • Proficient PC user with Windows environment
  • Proficient in computer aided design drafting (CADD)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
