Position Overview:
PECI is looking for a Project Coordinator to work within the Technical Research Group (TRG). This role is part of a small core group that leads cross-sector collaborative teams to meet 4 purposes: mentorship and training of technical staff, cultivate thought leadership, guide technical approach, and stewards of technical knowledge.
In this role the Project Coordinator will perform a range of tasks including collecting and organizing resources, preparing training materials, updating and posting project results to intranet, maintaining documents, technical writing and editing, and general administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support such as scheduling, organizing meetings, note taking, and basic internet research to TRG staff and projects
- Format and post resources to intranet and helping develop the knowledge management system
- Assist with preparation of technical training instructional materials including PowerPoint templates, online quizzes and class evaluations
- Maintain attendance records, class schedule, and class materials for the technical training program in the tracking system
- Assist with analyzing and tracking TRG resource forecasting
- Draft monthly and quarterly TRG accomplishment newsletter
- Identify, collect, and organize company resources for TRG projects and the knowledge management system
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment that is at the leading edge of a growing industry
- Comfortable learning highly technical concepts
- Strong analytical and data reporting skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and upper management to guide cross-sector projects to success
- A passion for learning and history of excellence
- Self-starter who takes initiative to move tasks towards completion
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required
- Proficiency in Jive Software and SalesForce.com a plus
