Position Overview: 

Due to rapid growth, GEC is continuously adding Project Coordinators to our Logistics Group. Positions are available in Seattle, Washington, and Lowell, Massachusetts. Please specify which location you are applying to. 

In this role you will schedule and coordinate wind measurement tower installations and acts as a liaison between the installation crews, clients, vendors, and other related parties. Previous experience in the wind energy industry is not required. 

Responsibilities: 

This position requires a quick learner who is able to multi-task and prioritize (there are many details to keep track of). You will be responsible for building relationships with new clients, crews, vendors, and other related parties and must take ownership of and responsibility for the various tasks and projects assigned to you. A strong ability to manage tasks is required, as is the flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new issues and different tasks. Some overtime required. 

Qualifications: 

We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of professional experience in scheduling, coordinating, or dispatching. 4-year college degree is preferred, ideally in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or other related field; however, comparable experience will be considered. 

You must be able to learn and understand technical information regarding the equipment (towers, data loggers, modems, etc.). Because a great deal of time is spent communicating with clients, vendors, and crew, excellent verbal and writing skills are required. This position requires a considerable amount of time on the phone as well as a large volume of e-mails. You must be able to deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner. 

This position requires proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.) and the ability to learn new software.
