Project Associate

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Conservation and Community Investment Forum (CCIF) in San Francisco (a not-for-profit organization specializing in financing conservation efforts world-wide) seeks to fill a one-year appointment in its Bali, Indonesia office.

The focus of this appointment will be to work with our Asia Director on designing solutions related to the financing of protected areas in South East Asia. Some travel to remote areas throughout Indonesia will be required. While the position does not require previous experience in nature conservation, intensive previous exposure to corporate finance, management consulting, and/or investment banking/venture capital is required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

The successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications:

* A Bachelor of Art or Science degree or higher from a major university, preferably in a field requiring complex analytical/quantitative methods and skills;
* At least two years experience as an analyst / associate with a major management consultancy, investment bank or venture capital firm;
* Strong quantitative, writing, presentation, and project management skills
* Basic knowledge/interest in web design and Wiki technology
* Willingness/ability to live in Bali, Indonesia for one year
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and multi-task; and
* Excellent interpersonal skills 

CCIF will provide all necessary visas, work permits, and travel to and from the US to Bali. 

TERM: One-year appointment 

SALARY: Compensation will be at competitive not-for-profit industry rates
