The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) is an award-winning consortium of efficiency program administrators from the United States and Canada that unifies program approaches across jurisdictions to increase impact in fragmented markets.

By joining forces at CEE, individual electric and gas efficiency programs are able to partner not only with each other, but also with other industries, trade associations, and government agencies. Working together, administrators leverage the effect of their ratepayer funding, exchange information on successful practices and, by doing so, achieve greater energy efficiency for the public good.

Position Overview: 

CEE is seeking a Program Services Assistant to support multiple corporate goals and program initiatives. This position will report to the Manager of Program Services and work closely with other staff members on specific projects.

Ideal attributes for this position are a service-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. Additionally, candidates who are supremely organized, exhibit initiative, and possess a desire for continuous improvement are sought.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement quarterly CEE member in-person meetings
  • Maintain CEE lists of qualifying energy efficient products
  • Conduct market, program, or technical research projects for program staff
  • Support media, marketing, and communications efforts as needed
  • Provide logistical and note-taking support for internal meetings and events
  • Handle inbound telephone calls and arriving guests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and work experience in a professional setting
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office software
  • Comfort manipulating basic HTML
  • Applied project management experience
  • Experience planning and managing professional events
  • Manage personal workload across multiple projects and teams
  • Travel to 2 domestic meetings per year
