The Partnership for Sustainability (P4S) is committed to collaborating with one another and with the community to optimize efforts in being good stewards through integration of the elements of sustainability: environmental health, economic health, and social health.
The P4S brings together business, non-profit and governmental organizations to advance sustainable practices in the Ozarks. By working collaboratively to increase awareness, share resources, and ease implementation, the P4S seeks to establish the Ozarks as a center of excellence in sustainability.
An Advisory Council comprised of environmental, economic and social experts assists in the development of strategies to accomplish our mission to identify and ensure that the needs of our community are met.
Position Overview:
The Program Manager works closely with the Executive Director to develop, implement, and evaluate program offerings. The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and managing Member Services; including recruitment, retention, and renewal of P4S members, and the logistical arrangements and promotion of P4S programs.
This position will also be responsible for the development, management and evaluation of the Ozarks Materials Exchange. Other program management responsibilities may be assigned on an as needed basis and the Program Manager will help in identifying opportunities to further the P4S mission.
Responsibilities:
- Champion the P4S program both externally and internally, providing engaging customer service to meet the needs of current and potential P4S members and general stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries about P4S membership and programs in a timely and professional manner, often serving as the first point of contact with stakeholders interacting with the P4S.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of P4S Member Services program, including branding, web communications, publications, and needs assessments.
- Process P4S applications, service requests, and inquiries according to established administrative systems.
- Ensure accuracy of member records and related information in the P4S database.
- Work with the Executive Director to ensure effective communications about and marketing of the P4S and its programs.
- Provide direct management of the Ozarks Materials Exchange.
- Work with the Executive Director and contractors to develop the program according to the program plan, budget and terms/conditions.
- Actively recruit Exchange users through the development and execution of a marketing campaign.
- Perform administrative program functions, including accounting and reporting requirements.
- Evaluate program success and modify program plans as needed to achieve goals and objectives.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of P4S programs.
- Work with the Executive Director to identify opportunities for collaborative efforts that further the P4S mission, including the identification and development of program funding sources.
- Provide administrative support for current P4S programs on an as needed basis.
- Aide in the execution of Board assigned directives, programs, events, and duties as requested by the Executive Director.
- Assist with the recruitment, supervision, and mentoring of interns.
- Responsible for managing the logistics of P4S programs and events.
- Provide administrative support, including preparation of materials.
- Manage registration processes, ensuring accuracy of records and prepare necessary reports.
- Ensure room readiness and set-up, food and drink arrangements, and room break-down for programs and events.

- A minimum of a BS/BA degree in a related field and 2 years non-profit experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Paid or volunteer experience that demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and the mission of the organization.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both written and oral formats with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong project management, administrative and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of marketing and communication methods, including print and electronic media.
- Possess a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence and marketing materials.
- Experience in developing and maintaining an online organizational presence, including web content management and social media management.
- Must demonstrate good problem solving skills and be able to present and respond to questions from groups, clients, and the general public.
- Ability to think creatively and resourcefully.
- Ability to stay up-to-date on advances in the field of sustainability.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and with teams.
- Excellent PC skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

The climate conditions and noise levels will vary depending on work locations. Supervisory Responsibilities:
May be required to manage student staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the P4S' and Drury University's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may include: interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
