World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Program Coordinator to assist in the sound management of WWF revenues used toward accomplishing WWF's mission.
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Program Administrator or Director, the Program Coordinator manages the budgeting and contracting process, financial tracking and reporting, grants and agreements, and administrative functions for the assigned program(s). S/he provides financial and administrative assistance to, and oversight of, program staff and grantees to ensure that budgets and agreements are handled in accordance with WWF policies, procedures, systems, and donor requirements.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. 4 years experience in public administration, project or financial management with multiple funders and/or stakeholders is necessary. Familiarity with U.S. Government-funded projects is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will also possess strong organizational, quantitative and analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and work accurately under time constraints, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate with considerable independence and discretion. Must also be detail oriented, have strong project management skills, and demonstrate the ability to use word processing, database and spreadsheet software packages (Word, Excel, and Access).
