Description

Rudolph Technologies, Inc. is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and support of high-performance process control metrology and macro defect inspection equipment used by semiconductor device manufacturers around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Competency: Must be strong enough technically to interface with engineering, and then communicate accurately the capabilities to both current and future customers, as well as Rudolph sales personnel.
  • Strategic direction / Develop the Product Roadmap: Duties will include market and application research, resulting in the communication of accurately defined product requirements to engineering. A 24-month window will be maintained.
  • Competitive Analysis: Provide thorough competitive analysis focusing on the top 5 competitors per product for a given application.
  • Demo / Applications Work: Responsible for understanding the products well enough to perform customer demos and application studies when needed.
  • Product Life Cycle: Own and manage the entire product line life cycle. From strategic planning to tactical activities such as pricing through the Rudolph Technology product life process.
  • Promotional Material: Own working with the regional sales managers and Marketing Communications personnel to develop timely promotional material including brochures, videos, technical specifications & various other sales documents.
  • Training: Supports the training of the sales team through both in field visits and sales training activities, group conferences & presentations.
  • Sales Support: Lead the Sales Force by example, participating directly in customer presentations and other interactions.
  • Price Negotiation Escalation: Serve in the discount approval process.
  • Travel: Travel will be world-wide, typically at a 30-35% per year level to be effective.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in a Technical expertise preferred
  • Prior experience working within the solar industry
  • Prior experience in software sales preferred
  • Excellent skills required in analytics and project management to include organization and time management.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of all levels of the organization.
