Producer Relations Manager

Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity in our Operations Department for an experienced and dedicated professional.

Duties:

• The Producer Relations Manager provides support, information and service to Horizon Organics dairy producer partners.
• Develops new and expands existing milk supplies to ensure availability to meet future demand.
• Maintains positive relationships with our haulers, processors and cooperative partners.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have the following demonstrated qualifications:

• Bachelor degree desired but not required
• Experiential equivalent of 3-5 years in agriculture
• Experiential equivalent of 1-3 years in purchasing
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is desired
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Ability to develop programs and guide development of plans
• Knowledge of dairy farm operations
• Strong functional knowledge of sustainable agriculture and organic regulations
• Ability to travel (Air and car travel may be as much as 50-60%)
