Position Overview
We are recruiting for a Principal Sustainability Consultant for one of our major consultancies in Bristol. They are a multi-disciplinary consultancy with a major focus on Engineering and Environmental management to the commercial industry. The company works internationally and is renowned for their advanced Sustainability division. This role will be working on their major projects throughout the UK and internationally when needed.
Responsibilities
The Role Will:
- Contribute toward gaining new clients, while taking on current projects
- Contribute toward growing the sustainability team and working alongside other sector
- Undertake BREEAM assessments
- Manage the BREEAM team
- Be working on multiple Sustainability subjects such as Waste, Energy and Low and Zero Carbon Energy
- Be conducting sustainability master plans
- Producing sustainability statements
- Producing renewable energy appraisals
- Have potential to adapt - e.g. bring in ecological aspects to the role
- Have great opportunities to progress and undertake training
Qualifications
You Will:
- Have a degree in a relevant field
- Have at least 3 years' experience in Sustainability positions
- Be accredited in BREEAM and ideally be a BREEAM AP
- Have experience of BREEAM, Environmental Management and Assessment tools
- Be able to conduct technical reports
- Be efficient in regards to time management
- Be confident and effective when communicating
- Have an in-depth understanding of current legislation and of environmental assessment methods
- Be able to influence stakeholders
Compensation: Salary is £40,000.
