The leader must demonstrate the capability to harmonize RAP’s traditional strengths and aspirations with long overlooked diversity and equity concerns that are now vital to energy sector success.

The next leader will have experience writing and speaking publicly to groups about complex issues related to climate change, energy policy, energy and environmental regulation, and markets. This person is a respected peer by policymakers and current leaders of energy organizations. The ideal candidate will have a record of innovative leadership within an energy enterprise, nonprofit, philanthropic or public sector organization. The leader understands government and NGO involvement in energy efficiency and renewable energy policy, energy policy networks, and power sector decision-making and has experience or knowledge of working in more than one country.
