Description
American Electric is one of the largest contractors in the state and is a signatory to IBEW Local 1186, Electrical Worker's Union in Honolulu. We can take on and successfully complete an extremely broad range of electrical construction projects including design build projects.
Responsibilities:
Candidate willl be tasked with a wide range of projects that will include but not be limited to: Survey and design of PV and other projects; organize, submit, and manage building permits; manage system monitoring; assist operation manager with tasks.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of PV components and wiring; basic electrical knowledge of electrical wiring; bachelor degree or higher a plus, CAD design or similar a plus.
Skills:
Must be able to work well with others; be highly organized; have good telephone etiquette, be able to troubleshoot problems and come up with solutions.
