Position Overview:
This is an entry level part-time manager's assistant position with flexible weekday hours.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting with everything that is Green Home, mainly customer service, sales and marketing
- Responding to emails, answer phones, tracking orders, communicating with customers and suppliers
- Assisting with marketing campaigns, gathering data, generating reports and creating spreadsheets
- Updating copy and images on our website, facebook, twitter, blog pages
- Participation in company meetings and green product testing
Qualifications:
About You:
You are passionate about green, love talking to people and writing emails, like to create spreadsheets and analyze data, and want to make a positive impact on our planet through educated consumerism. You may have a background in communication, marketing, e-commerce, or creative writing.
Required qualities include, but are not limited to:
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle stressful situations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Efficient excel skills and the ability to learn new databases quickly
- Confident math and writing skills
- Retail and/or product sales experience a plus
- Online shopping experience a must
- Social media savvy (Facebook, Twitter, Blog)
Compensation: This position pays: $10-$12/hr DOE.
