Our outside sales team is dedicated to providing unique solar solutions for the integration of PV solar panels into our clients' commercial facilities. Revenue for solar energy in the US has exceeded 40% per year for the last 10 years and forecasted to grow from $9B this year to $61B by 2015. We will train you to be part of that growth.
Position Overview:
Outside Sales Professional - Smart Solar Solutions of Arizona is seeking self-motivated professionals who understand the daily activities required to maintain a full pipeline of interested prospects. As an Outside Sales Professional you will spend most of your working time in the field visiting prospective customers. Your ability to articulate the financial benefits to your customers of a commitment to solar and close the sale will make you a financial success in this role.
We will provide comprehensive training. You must be able to network and prospect for qualified leads on a daily basis.
You must know, or be able to meet with business owners that own their buildings. Success will be dependent on your ability to interact with business owners to close the sale and ensure 100% customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of finance or accounting
- Responding to leads from both new and existing customers
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations
- Performing preliminary site survey analysis for job estimating
- Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering, business or marketing preferred
- Solar industry experience is helpful but not necessary. Sales experience is mandatory. A minimum of 3 years successful sales experience in B2B sales, PV integrator, energy related, high-tech or construction sales is a plus
- Must have strong PC skills and experience with MS Office Suite
- Good communications skills including public speaking leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team environment is required
- Solid sales management including the ability to assess customer needs, build successful relationships, identify sales opportunities is essential
- Ability to work with minimal supervision after appropriate training has been given
Compensation: This is not an entry level sales position. Only top-tier sales professionals need apply. Top sellers exceed $100,000 annually. Compensation includes a robust commission package that does not contain a ceiling to earning potential designed to encourage high performers. There is no base salary. Those individuals that can close sales will be substantially rewarded - we pay on results.
