Vanguard Energy Partners, LLC, a full service solar construction firm, is searching for a professional inside sales executive. As a leader in the solar industry, Vanguard's creative, design-build solar solutions have enabled scores of commercial customers in the USA to harness the power of the sun.
Position Overview:
The perfect candidate is a strong team player, yet productive working independently. This position will actively identify and pursue leads, effectively communicate with prospects/customers, and close contracts. The sales executive's primary role will be to generate leads and meet with prospects. The sales executive will be the primary representative of Vanguard Energy Partners, LLC and is expected to convey VEP's expertise in services and capabilities offered. This position requires drive, determination, creativity, and a high degree of customer service. The sales executive will report directly to the VP of sales and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Sales of commercial solar electric systems
- Prospecting and qualifying opportunities
- Negotiating contracts
- Closing and signing contracts with key decision makers
- Logging all communication with customers into CRM database
- Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage, and financial return on investment
- Conducting site evaluations for potential customers
- Conducting presentations both in person as well as via conference calls
- Join/maintain member ships in industry organizations
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:
- Team player
- World class communication and customer service skills
- Must have Solar experience
- Understanding of general construction methods
- Desire to stay on leading edge of industry innovations
- Proficiency with CRM, Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales in a relevant industry
- 4 year college degree
