Position Overview:
BDS Solar, Inc. is seeking dedicated Sales Consultants who have experience/knowledge in sales, mostly of the solar industry, solar products, and financing; who want to be trained and reinvent oneself in one of the top growing industries.
The primary responsibility of a Sales Consultant is to produce and project expected revenue in an assigned territory. This successful consultant is an expert in their territory in terms of Utility Rates, competition and approaches that work in their assigned market. Sales consultants will spend a great deal of time traveling to and visiting with prospective customers at their homes and/or place of business. This position requires insight, professionalism, and a high degree of customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Sales of residential/commercial solar electric systems.
- Explore for needs; evaluate customers current kilowatt usage and financial return on investment.
- Creating project proposals for customers utilizing our proprietary tool.
- Utilizing online tools and performing preliminary site evaluations to develop an initial system design.
- Ability to compose financial proposals to meet customers needs by using cash and lease/loan programs/proposals.
Qualifications:
- Must exhibit professionalism at all times.
- Understanding of personal finance; must be arithmetically skillful.
- Basic computer skills; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, and Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Excel.
- Proven ability to establish rapport and build business relationships.
- Self motivated, quick learner, heard working, and focused in helping obtain leads/sales.
- Professional and tidy appearance.
- Ability to close 3 to 6 projects per month. 30% closing ratio; estimation negotiation.
- Training for 30-45 days with Sales Management Team.
BDS Solar, Inc. is looking to personalize our goals in sales and foster a team leader type of person to assemble a sales staff to sell solar and generate revenue in an enjoyable and honest company setting. We provide for the Sales Consultants on a weekly basis, averaging 6-8 leads per/week. Initial commission based, with draw against salary after 4 sales.
The solar industry is growing rapidly and we have the knowledge and tools to provide you the BIG advantage over the competition. We have a lease and/or loan program, several of the best financing options in the industry at present.
