Description
Rail-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit environmental organization, is seeking an Outreach Manager for our Policy division.
Job Overview:
We seek a resourceful and creative communicator with online and in-person grassroots organizing skills to play a key role in building a movement for active transportation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new regional networks of organizations and agencies to advocate for trail systems and active transportation;
- Manage a web-based advocacy network for trail and transportation activists;
- Conduct research to support communities promoting biking, walking, and trails.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years relevant work experience.
- Must have excellent written/verbal communications skills; grassroots organizing experience.
- Computer skills: MS Word, data base, and e-advocacy tools; knowledge of transportation policy a plus.
- Master's degree desirable.
